About Us

A red sports car parked near Sherwood Elks Lodge.

On SW Elwert Road in Sherwood, this lodge has earned a 4.6-star reputation the old-fashioned way: friendly bartenders who remember your name, a spacious hall that can hold a raucous car club Christmas party without feeling cramped, and a low-pressure atmosphere that keeps people coming back on weeknights when everywhere else has already called last call.

The Sherwood Elks Lodge #2342 is part of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, one of America's oldest fraternal organizations. But what members and guests notice first isn't the history on the walls. It's the energy in the room. Interesting patrons, affordable drinks, and a bar staff that keeps things moving without making anyone feel rushed.

Beyond the bar and the banquet hall, the lodge runs charitable programs that put real dollars back into the Sherwood community, from youth scholarships to veterans support. Membership opens doors to events, discounts, and a genuine sense of belonging in a town that values showing up for its neighbors.

What We Offer

The lodge's banquet hall handles everything from corporate holiday parties to milestone birthday celebrations. Reviewers specifically call out how the space keeps energy high even with large groups, making it a go-to for car clubs, sports teams, and family reunions across the Sherwood and Tualatin Valley area.

The full-service bar is open late, one of the few spots in the region that is, with drinks priced to keep regulars coming back rather than running up a tab. Regular lodge events include dinners, game nights, and charitable fundraisers that members organize throughout the year.

Membership in the Elks brings access to the national network of over 2,000 lodges across the country, local voting rights on lodge decisions, and eligibility for Elks scholarship programs that have distributed millions to American students. Prospective members can inquire directly at the lodge or visit elks.org to start the process.

"Just enjoyed a car club Christmas party here. Spacious, even with a big group. We had fun and the atmosphere was conducive to keeping the energy high. The bar staff was friendly, and we're not troubled by a tea-totaler's repeated requests for ice water. Enjoyed the experience."

"Friendly bartenders . Unfortunately while I was there there was a group with several Really loud people in it. I normally wouldn't say anything because i love it when people laugh and have fun but they weren't laughing.. screeching about everything and no matter were I sat it was hard to hear the person at my table."

"We have stayed at the RV park in Sherwood for many years when we travel to Oregon to visit family. Charlene and Bill are the best hosts and do everything possible to match the sites with the size of the units. Charlene keeps great records and knows when everyone is coming and going, and always available 24/7. The grounds are kept very nice, the lodge is neat and tidy, and the food and drinks are reasonably priced."

"Red Cross visit. Missed the almost immediate right turn and goggle map sent us to the neighborhood instead. It’s in field behind neighborhood. With all the RVs on the hill."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
